## How AI visibility works
- AI assistants answer about a hotel from three layers at once: (1) what the model learnt in training, (2) what it finds in a live web search (your site, OTAs, guides), and (3) what it can pull directly from your systems via a connection (availability, prices, conditions). Listo works all three.
- SEO and GEO are compatible, not the same. Classic SEO helps assistants find and read your site; GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) shapes what the model says about your brand.
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets assistants query official, connected sources in real time, so AI can cite verified info and let travellers book directly with you instead of via an OTA.
